Overview
Embrk ("we", "us", "our") operates the Embrk staff app and embrk.app website. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Data We Collect
- Account data — email address and password when you create an account.
- Company data — company name, logo, and fleet information you enter into the app.
- Usage data — basic analytics on how the app is used (no personal identifiers).
- Photos — boat photos you upload are stored securely in Cloudflare R2.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain the Embrk service.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To store and display your fleet information within the app.
- To communicate with you about the service (no marketing without consent).
Data Storage
Your data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Neon) and file storage (Cloudflare R2). Both are hosted in the EU/US. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing hello@embrk.app. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your data is deleted within 30 days.
Children
Embrk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify active users of significant changes by email.
